  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Gently fold in chopped apples.
  5. Add heavy cream and stir until just combined; do not overmix.
  6. Turn dough onto a floured surface and shape into an 8-inch circle about 1 inch thick. Cut into wedges.
  7. Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. For the glaze, whisk powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk until smooth. Drizzle over warm scones before serving.
