- 1 cup warm milk (110°F)
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast; allow to sit for 5 minutes until frothy. Mix in melted butter.
- Gradually add flour to form a soft dough. Knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise for about 1 hour until doubled.
- Meanwhile, mix sliced strawberries with sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter on top, then evenly sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and strawberry mixture.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log and cut into 12 pieces. Arrange in a greased baking dish.
- Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for approximately 25 minutes until golden brown.
- Drizzle with icing made from mixed powdered sugar and milk before serving.
