Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 8 oz raw shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 8 oz ribeye or sirloin steak
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Boil the Pasta: In a large pot of salted water, cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the Steak: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak with Cajun seasoning and sear for 4-5 minutes per side until cooked to your liking. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.
  3. Sauté Shrimp: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about a minute. Add shrimp and cook until pink, around 3-4 minutes.
  4. Make the Sauce: Lower heat, add butter followed by heavy cream, stirring constantly until simmering. Mix in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  5. Combine Everything: Slice the rested steak thinly against the grain and add it along with drained pasta to the skillet. Toss gently to coat in the sauce.
  6. Serve: Plate servings and garnish with extra Parmesan or fresh herbs as desired.
