  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp unflavored gelatin powder
  • 2 tbsp cold water
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • Fresh berries for garnish

Instructions

  1. Bloom the gelatin by sprinkling it over cold water in a small bowl; let sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In a saucepan over low heat, combine heavy cream, whole milk, and sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves and mixture is hot (about 5 minutes).
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Add bloomed gelatin to the warm cream mixture while whisking until fully dissolved (about 2 minutes).
  5. Pour into serving cups or molds, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  6. Once set, serve topped with fresh berries.
