Instructions
- Bloom the gelatin by sprinkling it over cold water in a small bowl; let sit for 5 minutes.
- In a saucepan over low heat, combine heavy cream, whole milk, and sugar. Stir until sugar dissolves and mixture is hot (about 5 minutes).
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Add bloomed gelatin to the warm cream mixture while whisking until fully dissolved (about 2 minutes).
- Pour into serving cups or molds, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
