- 1 can (15 oz) cream-style corn
- 1 lb breakfast sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 package (8.5 oz) cornbread mix
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
- In a skillet, brown the sausage over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, combine both types of corn, cooked sausage, eggs, milk, cornbread mix, and half the cheese. Mix until well combined.
- Pour mixture into the greased baking dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown and set in the center. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
