  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 cup fresh mushrooms (cremini or shiitake), sliced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine in boiling salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Sauté sliced mushrooms until golden brown and crispy (about 5-7 minutes). Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Reduce heat, add remaining butter to the skillet. Stir in minced garlic and chopped rosemary; cook until fragrant (about 1 minute). Add honey and mix well.
  4. Toss the cooked pasta with the sauce and reserved pasta water until evenly coated.
  5. Serve topped with crispy mushrooms and grated Parmesan cheese.
