  • 1 lb ground beef (or chicken/turkey)
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup diced onions
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground meat. Drain excess fat and add diced vegetables; cook until tender.
  3. Stir in shredded cheese until melted and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Roll out puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into squares (about 4 inches wide).
  5. Place a spoonful of filling on one half of each pastry square; fold over and seal edges with a fork.
  6. Brush each pie with egg wash and place on the baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
