  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup pure honey
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, minced garlic, and rice vinegar until well combined.
  4. Place the chicken in a zip-top bag or bowl and pour half of the marinade over it. Seal and marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Transfer marinated chicken to the baking dish and pour remaining marinade on top. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or about 74°C).
  6. Let rest for five minutes before slicing and serving with pan sauce.
