Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup unsalted cold butter, diced
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, mix flour and sugar. Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
  2. Add egg and mix until dough forms. Press into a tart pan evenly across the bottom and up the sides; prick with a fork.
  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Cool completely.
  4. In another bowl, whip heavy cream with vanilla extract until soft peaks form. Gently fold in egg yolk mixed with sugar.
  5. Spread cream filling over cooled crust and arrange fresh fruits on top.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before slicing and serving.
