Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine warm milk, granulated sugar, and yeast. Let sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- Mix in melted butter and eggs. Gradually add half the flour until combined; then incorporate remaining flour to form a soft dough.
- Knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot until doubled in size (about 1 hour).
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter over it, and sprinkle with brown sugar mixed with cinnamon.
- Roll tightly into a log and slice into equal portions (about 12). Place in a greased baking dish and let rise again for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375°F and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
- While cooling, prepare cream cheese glaze by mixing powdered sugar with softened cream cheese and vanilla extract; drizzle over rolls before serving.
