Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup mixed nuts (almonds and walnuts), roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup dried fruits (raisins or cranberries)
  • 1/2 cup nut butter (peanut or almond)
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, chopped nuts, chia seeds, and dried fruits.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together honey (or maple syrup) and nut butter until smooth.
  4. Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and mix until evenly coated.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the lined baking dish and press down firmly.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown around the edges. Allow cooling completely before cutting into squares.
