  • 2 lbs baby back ribs
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (your choice)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption.
  3. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Generously rub this mixture over both sides of the ribs.
  4. Place ribs on a foil-lined baking sheet, cover with foil, and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.
  5. Remove foil, brush with BBQ sauce, and grill for an additional few minutes if desired. Serve hot.
