Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with paper liners.
- Brew two chai tea bags in half a cup of hot water for five minutes; let cool slightly.
- In a bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, combine pumpkin puree, eggs, cooled chai tea, vanilla extract, and melted butter until smooth.
- Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
- Fill cupcake liners two-thirds full with batter and bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow cupcakes to cool before frosting with a mixture of softened butter, powdered sugar, and cream cheese.
