- 2 cups powdered sugar (for frosting)
Instructions

- In another bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in lemon and lime zest.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture alternately with the lemon-lime soda, starting and ending with dry ingredients.
- Fill cupcake liners two-thirds full and bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before frosting with powdered sugar frosting or extra zest.
