  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Wash and trim the green beans; pat dry.
  2. Set up three bowls: whisk eggs with salt and pepper in one, mix flour with garlic powder, salt, and pepper in another, and place panko breadcrumbs in the third.
  3. Coat each green bean in flour, dip into egg wash, then coat with panko.
  4. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat (about 350°F). Fry the beans in batches until golden brown and crispy, approximately 3-5 minutes.
  5. Transfer to paper towels to drain excess oil and sprinkle with salt while hot.
