Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp ground coriander
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 3 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 pita breads or large tortillas
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp chopped cilantro or parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1. Marinate the Chicken: Slice chicken into thin strips. In a bowl, combine minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Add chicken strips and coat well. Marinate in the fridge for at least one hour.
  2. 2. Cook the Chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook marinated chicken strips in batches for 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. 3. Prepare Your Sauce: In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt with chopped cilantro (or parsley), olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  4. 4. Assemble Your Wrap: Lay pita bread or tortilla flat. Layer with cooked chicken followed by fresh veggies (lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers) and drizzle with yogurt sauce.
  5. 5. Roll It Up: Fold in the sides of the pita/tortilla and roll tightly from one end.
  6. 6. Serve & Enjoy: Transfer to plates and drizzle with remaining yogurt sauce.
