Description

  • 1 lb lean ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, basil, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Shape mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and arrange them on the baking dish.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  5. While baking, heat marinara sauce in a saucepan over medium heat; stir in garlic powder.
  6. Once meatballs are done, transfer to the warmed sauce and let them soak for a few minutes before serving.
