Air Fryer Donuts are a delightful and healthier spin on a classic treat, offering a light, fluffy texture with a crispy exterior. These easy-to-make donuts come together quickly, making them perfect for weekend breakfasts or surprise brunches. Customize your donuts with your favorite toppings for a sweet experience that satisfies cravings without the guilt of deep frying.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup milk (whole or plant-based)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and sugar until well combined.
  2. In another bowl, mix egg, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gradually add to the dry ingredients to form a sticky dough.
  3. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and roll it out to about 1/2 inch thick. Cut into donut shapes using a donut cutter or two round cookie cutters.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes while arranging donuts on parchment paper.
  5. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and place donuts inside without overcrowding. Cook for about 6 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Once cooked, toss the donuts in sugar or your favorite glaze and enjoy warm!
