- 4 cloves fresh garlic
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp allspice
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper (or to taste)
- 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
Instructions
- Gather all ingredients on your kitchen counter.
- In a blender, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, allspice, cayenne pepper, and lime juice. Blend until smooth.
- Coat chicken breasts in the jerk sauce and marinate for at least one hour (preferably overnight).
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat (400°F). Grill chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side until cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
