- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
- 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Cut the beef round steak into serving-sized pieces and pound gently with a meat mallet.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear the steak pieces on both sides until browned (about 5 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté chopped onion and bell pepper until soft (about 5 minutes). Add minced garlic and canned tomatoes; stir well.
- Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, scraping up any browned bits from the pan. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Return seared steaks to the skillet, spooning sauce over them. Cover and reduce heat to low; simmer for 1 hour until tender.
