  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp water or milk

Instructions

  1. Melt butter with milk and sugar in a saucepan over low heat until combined.
  2. In a bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to the butter mixture until fully mixed.
  3. Cool slightly, then incorporate eggs one at a time until smooth.
  4. Pipe dough into ring shapes on parchment-lined sheets.
  5. Heat oil in a pot to 350°F (175°C) and fry crullers for about 3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  6. Let cool slightly before dipping in the glaze made from powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and water/milk.
