  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, whisking well after each addition. Stir in cocoa powder and flour until just combined.
  3. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese with sour cream until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and mix until creamy. Add an egg and beat until combined.
  4. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared dish. Spoon dollops of the cheesecake mixture over it, then pour remaining brownie batter on top and swirl gently.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs. Let cool completely before slicing.
